Mandate

To develop and advocate budgetary, fiscal management, taxation and regulatory solutions to all levels of government to position Calgary as the leading engine for economic growth in the country.

Transparency and accountability – priority setting, purchasing policy, competitive tendering, Auditor
Municipal election involvement

Provincial

Economic competitiveness – creating the conditions for sustained economic prosperity
Provincial fiscal policy –tax reform, resource wealth management, spending
Health care expenditure management
Oil and gas industry competitiveness – royalties, climate change, industry image management
