
The Committee plays an active role in encouraging sustainable business practices that incorporate economic, environmental and social factors into decision-making. It monitors and responds to environmental policy initiatives, positioning the Chamber as a responsible voice on critical issues, and supports technological innovation to solve current environmental challenges. The Environment Committee often meets jointly with the Natural Resources Committee.
