Rob Hawley - Vice Chair, Finance

Rob is an assurance partner in the Calgary office. Rob's clients include integrated oil and gas companies, pipeline companies, oilfield service companies, and regulated financial institutions. Many of his clients are large public companies with extensive governance structures, some of whom are registered with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. As well, Rob is a member of PwC's global quality review program, which has involved reviews of PwC offices in Russia, China and Korea.

Rob spent several months on secondment to the Alberta Securities Commission, where he worked in the Chief Accountant's Group. Rob's responsibilities included critiquing the accounting and disclosures of public companies and working toward resolving compliance related matters.

Rob served as a director of the Calgary Philharmonic Society for eight years, during which time he served as Board Vice-Chairman and Finance Committee Chairman. Rob has also served on the Calgary Chamber of Commerce Natural Resource Committee.
