Onsite document certification

The reception desk is closed from 12-12:30 Monday through Friday and no certification will be available at that time.

The Calgary Chamber can certify a variety of documents. The most common being a certificate of origin, which indicates that goods exported by shipment to another have been manufactured or processed in Canada. This form may be requested by customs or other agencies before entry is allowed into another country. In order to have a document certified by the Calgary Chamber, please follow these steps.

  1. Print off and complete a document certification form.
  2. Have a lawyer, or a commissioner of oaths sign the document certification form.
  3. Bring a completed and signed document certification form to the Calgary Chamber, along with an additional copy for our records, with the appropriate payment. Cash, Master Card, Visa, Amex, and cheque are all acceptable forms of payment. Note: Debit is no longer a form of payment for certification.

If the documents being certified require less than 12 stamps but more than one shipment, it's considered one set per shipment.

Document certification is $89.25 for non-members and $36.75 for members for anything 12 pages or less.
