When you get involved in the Calgary Chamber, you gain incredible opportunities to meet and build relationships with fellow business people in Calgary.  Share your expertise and ideas, learn from someone else, and connect to the business community. Your membership provides the opportunity for introductions, proximity placements and strategic business match-making opportunities.

Through a number of Member Exchange events you will have the opportunity to:

• Engaging with potential customers and influencers on a regular and ongoing basis
• Share ideas and learning with peers, other businesses, community leaders and recognized thinkers
• Build and share business opportunities

Our members believe it is smart to do business with other Chamber members. So, start perfecting your sales pitch, gather your business cards and come to a Chamber function or event.

The Chamber hosts Connect for Lunch, which is designed to help members build their networks. One of the Chamber’s priorities is to facilitate the sharing of ideas and key learning’s among its members. At these lunches, members choose to sit with members from industries that they want to build connections with.  Once seated, everyone is required to give a 30-second pitch about themselves, and their company, before the networking and learning begins.

The Calgary Chamber’s Business After Hours trade shows and evening social gatherings are one of the best networking opportunities in the city. These mini-trade shows provide opportunities to display products or services, discover new businesses, network with other business people, exchange ideas, and meet new clients in a fun and casual environment. Held eight times each year, Business After Hours typically attracts over 20 exhibitors and anywhere from 100 to 200 guests at each event. Each month, Business After Hours is hosted at a different venue to attract a diverse range of members and businesses, and to allow members to experience one another's facilities.

The Calgary Chamber’s website is an interactive portal that allows members to upload their profile, search other member profiles, and use one of the service links to reach out and contact other members directly. However, if this isn’t enough, you can also stand out from the crowd even more by taking advantage of the many sponsorship opportunities and having your name associated with a keynote speaker event or learning workshop.
