Making life better for business

Think of business as a plant – in order for it to survive and thrive you need to create the right conditions for growth. That’s where we come in.

To make life easier for businesses, the Chamber advocates all levels of government to adopt policies that will reduce the hurdles and barriers to business growth and success. These policy positions come directly from our members, who each year complete a survey telling us what’s important to them and their business. Our Policy and Government Affairs Department then works with our member committees and external stakeholders to keep these priorities on track, guiding and providing balance behind our policy efforts.

With this information, the Chamber develops a number of ideas and solutions for positive change at the municipal, provincial and federal levels of government.
