Municipal Affairs
Calgary is a great city with the potential to become even greater. In 2010, the Calgary Chamber launched the Great Calgary ideas campaign leading up to the municipal election to get Calgarians talking about the future they envision for our city. Since then, many of these ideas have come to influence the direction of Calgary with nearly two thirds of city council priorities for 2012 – 2014 strongly aligning with the business-friendly policy positions in Great Calgary. Today, the Calgary Chamber continues to work with our elected officials to make sure they are addressing the concerns of Calgary’s business community.
