Our first 403 of 2019 will focus on People – think attracting talent, building a strong culture, and ensuring you meet and follow the labour code. We’ve put together an industry-leading panel that will speak to the People element of business. Learn how to utilize your human capital to grow your business and create a stronger brand and company.

Executive search expert Adam Pekarsky is the Founding Partner of Pekarsky & Co., an award-winning executive search firm Adam founded in 2009. Adam has been recruiting executives in Western Canada for over 17 years. A recovering lawyer, Adam chairs the global legal practice group of Panorama, a world-wide strategic alliance of over 20 executive search firms in over 30 countries.
When Adam isn’t involved with the day to day activities of his firm, he is usually doing something in our community. He is a frequent blogger and speaker and Adam spent five years on the Board of Directors of Tourism Calgary, and presently sits on the YMCA of Calgary Board of Directors, where he chaired the Strategy Committee, sits on the Governance Committee and leads the Camp Chief Hector Endowment Committee. Adam is also a sessional instructor at the University of Calgary Faculty of Law where he teaches a wildly popular course that he calls “everything you didn’t learn in law school, until now.” In June 2015, Adam was honoured with a Business in Calgary Leaders Award and in 2016 he proudly accepted the Alberta Venture Fast 50 award, recognizing Alberta’s 50 fastest growing companies. In 2017 and 2018 Adam accepted, on behalf of the firm, a Canadian Lawyer Reader’s Choice Award for best legal search firm. In his downtime, Adam can almost always be found in his beloved home away from home down in Fernie, BC.
Dayna is a Connector, bridging the gaps between people, process and ideas. Her ability to create a strategy and plan moves the company forward, making the BRITT’s vision a reality. A continuous learner with a fascination on innovation, she is always looking for ways to do and be better. In her role as COO, Dayna focuses on strategic business development, service offerings, and mentoring BRITT’s leadership team. She is passionate about the unique culture BRITT has created and is known for; authentic, bold and empowering. Outside of BRITT, Dayna has a passion for gender equity and empowering women in leadership. She is constantly travelling, enjoying a run, and wears the hat of ‘mompreneur’ raising two boys.
Debby Carreau is an entrepreneur, author and Founder and CEO of both Inspired HR and Inspired WorkplaceTM. She is widely recognized in the media and the business community as a workplace thought leader.
Debby is a proven leader in helping businesses to create inspiring and productive workplaces. Her regular TV segments and articles offer practical workplace advice to organizations and employees alike. Debby is a board member for multiple organizations including: FinDev Canada ,Young Presidents Organization (Canada and British Columbia), Elevation Group and Collingwood School. She was previously an Advisory Board member for Women’s Executive Network, Respect in the Workplace and is the Chair for 1000 Women Rising.

Jenn Lofgren is a champion of Calgary enterprise, an ally to business leaders and a longstanding and engaged member of the Calgary Chamber of Commerce. As an executive leadership coach and business owner, she works with executives and entrepreneurs from various industries across Canada helping them grow and develop into inspired leaders.
The founder of Incito Executive and Leadership Development in 2009, Jenn is one of only 3 Master Certified Coaches in Calgary, out of 54 total Master Certified Coaches in Canada. With over 15 years experience in coaching, mentoring, gap analysis, and strategic development, Jenn has an insatiable drive to learn new concepts, allowing her to understand the bigger picture of leadership. Her goal with all of her clients is to not only help them become stronger leaders, but to become authentic leaders who can empower their teams to work together to achieve success. Working with executives from varied industries including education, government, oil and gas, and technology, Jenn has gained unique insight into the challenges facing today’s leaders.
