Escalating trade tensions, other geo-political events, and slowing growth continue to muddy the economic environment heading into 2020.  Derek Burleton, Deputy Chief Economist, TD Bank Group, will discuss the implications of this elevated uncertainty on the Alberta and Canadian economies and where he sees opportunities for growth.

Following Mr. Burleton’s keynote address there will be a moderated Q&A session. This Q&A session will be moderated by Deborah Yedlin, Chancellor, University of Calgary.

This is a lunch event, with a full lunch being served.
