The Belong campaign was a wild success! Thanks to your help, over 60 new members came through the three day campaign, with over 100 members joining in the month of May, helping to make your Chamber stronger.
Dozens of volunteers came together to get on the phone and spread the word about the good work the Chamber does, put together welcome packages and help us deliver them to all the great new members.
We'd like to warmly welcome the 66 new member businesses that joined the Calgary Chamber as part of Belong:
You may have noticed recently a much larger visual presence from the Calgary Chamber around the city. On Friday, May 2nd, 2014 we embarked on one of the largest awareness campaigns in our 123 year history.
Over the past year, your Chamber played an essential role in helping business recover from the devastating floods, continued our initiatives to attract and retain skilled workers, created aboriginal-business connections, and advocated for more business-friendly regulations.
The campaign, entitled Belong, involved a month-long media and outreach campaign.
We decided it was time to tell these stories to the whole Calgary business community.
The promotional materials feature a cross-section of senior business leaders from our membership, illustrating how the Chamber helps them. You can see these advertisements on Pattison billboards and elevator ads throughout downtown. As well, radio ads (click to listen to Radio Ad #1 and Radio Ad# 2) are airing on some of Calgary’s Corus radio stations for business audiences, and TV ads are running on CBC during prime news broadcasts as well as during the Stanley Cup playoffs. And of course we are all over Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google and YouTube!
